The Grand Debut!
Here it is folks! Lets hope this is still working when you watch this. The slides change automatically so don't worry if the first one isn't moving for a few seconds. I talked for awhile before I moved on. :) I look forward to hearing your feedback.
Homework Debate
In my presentation, I talk about homework and how it can be used effectively. Here is a great middle school example of using groups to review homework and encourage accountability, all while saving time for the teacher. The Teaching Channel is a fantastic resource. I highly encourage all of you to sign up so you can view the videos whenever you need a new idea or inspiration.

Jennifer Jones is the creator of this slideshow and she is a reading specialist with a fantastic blog that is an excellent resource for teachers. Her site is called Hello Literacy. She publishes great resources that teachers of all ages will find useful. Please look at her blog.
